"My case was very difficult because my back teeth were gone. The remaining teeth that I had in the front I had grinded down so badly that my bite was off. My Smile Center dentist worked with me instead of me having to work with him. He can prescribe something to make it easier if you are scared. You don't feel like you are being rushed in and rushed out."

If you are one of the millions of people who experience some degree of
anxiety about your dental visit, this may be “just the ticket” to say goodbye to
those upsetting feelings forever.
While most of our patients feel that they don’t need sedation to help them through these visits, many newbie’s and some with strong fears benefit from simple sedation techniques to “take the edge off”.
Sedation dentistry is used to help you get the comfort and peace of mind to make your visits tolerable.
Many of those receiving sedation “lightly snooze” in a near sleep-like state. Some tell us they don’t remember much about their visit at all, and they like that! Many tell us that sedation was enough for them to feel good again about getting dental work done.
More good news: most of our sedation patients get so comfortable with us over time that they no longer require sedation anymore.
If you are strongly fearful, we understand because we deal with patients like you virtually every day. Know this: we will work to help you be comfortable and to make your visits as quick as possible. Sedation is but one arrow in our quiver to help you have the best experience possible.
For some, dentistry has been terrifying. Even grown macho men can find themselves stopped by these raw emotions and even as their rational minds tell them to go ahead. Strong emotions stop them in their tracks. We understand this.
So, rest assured, we will do all we can do to help out. We’ve been providing sedation dentistry since 1983, so we have a bit of experience, wouldn’t you agree?
Here’s your next step: Give us a call and request the reports. When you call
our office, you can talk with one of our dental health counselors and get your
questions answered then together, we’ll decide what makes sense for you.
Wouldn’t it make sense to do something right away? Call us at 860-633-3509.
